Those unable to buy a home have turned to land!

The rapid rise in housing prices in Turkey has made homeownership difficult. As a result, those who want to own a home have turned to owning land first, and then housing. Bülent Öztürk, Chairman of the Board of Arsavev, stated that since their establishment in 2017, they have sold 5.6 million square meters of land, equivalent to a total of 750 football fields, to approximately 20,000 people.

New route: America!

Stating that they have a land stock of 400,000 square meters with a total value of 44.5 billion TL, Öztürk explained that they are developing new projects in regions such as Izmir Foça, Torbalı, Balıkesir, Çiftlikköy, Polonezköy, Kuşadası, and Çeşme. Öztürk also shared that they will step into a new investment model with land plots in the Orlando region of the USA, where the infrastructure is completed and ready for construction.

Accessible summer houses

Underlining that the demand for summer regions has increased after the pandemic, Öztürk said, "Especially special regions of Marmara, the Aegean, and the Mediterranean are in high demand. Houses in nature or by the seaside are very popular. However, these houses, where we do not live continuously, also cause great waste with their large square meters and expenses such as dues, renovations, etc. That is exactly why the trend is accessible houses in summer regions."
