There is almost no land supply in central Istanbul

arsaVev Chairman of the Board Bülent Öztürk made the following evaluations:
"There is now almost no land supply left in the center of Istanbul. In addition to the lack of supply, there is the reconstruction of existing buildings due to urban transformation. This causes land prices per square meter in the center of Istanbul to rise significantly and cease to be accessible.
Investing in the center of Istanbul for industrial investment no longer seems possible in terms of both physical conditions and feasibility. This situation naturally directs investors to the outskirts of Istanbul and Anatolian cities. Especially in production and industrial investments, we see a significant shift towards provinces that are advantageous in terms of logistics."
"This trend increases the demand for qualified land suitable for production while also creating a rise in prices."
"The increase in value, especially in regions close to transportation axes, with zoning permits and completed infrastructure, is a result of this trend.
According to the data we received from the field; both individual and institutional investors are in search of land around Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir.
Today, land investment has become a strategic element of both production and regional development. We estimate that there could be an annual increase of approximately 30% – 50% in land demand in Anatolia for industrial purposes."
